About Us

Mission Statement:

Our mission as a student organization is to help bridge the Digital Divide in the Philadelphia area through technology-focused community service. Our members refurbish and donate computers and peripherals to non-profit organizations (e.g., communities of faith, schools, community centers). In addition, members teach classes that help raise computer literacy rates and/or train residents to maintain and support the technology they already have.

Who We Are:

TechServ is a student organization at Drexel University. We are comprised of students of all majors and are all volunteers. All Drexel students are welcome to join TechServ, regardless of prior technical knowledge. Our mission is to help bridge the Digital Divide in the Philadelphia area, which we primarily do by refurbishing computers and donating them to non-profit organizations in need. Our other activities include technology-related workshops, hosting student-organization websites, and organizing fun events throughout the year. All visitors are encouraged to explore this website for more information.
