This week’s fencer of the week is David Linskens! David is a freshman at Drexel University studying computer science. He is also a member of the Drexel Epee Squad.
David is an extreme delight to have on the team. Though I personally have not known him long, he is always a pleaasnt guy to talk to during drill or bouting. He can give thoughtful advice, and you can tell he really cared about the sport. After taking him to a USFA tournament, I knew he was a good fit to the team.
His captain, Brandon Leong, says that “David has been a pleasure to have. He’s always eager to learn and is a pleasant person to be around. One thing I can appreciate about him is that he truly loves the sport and is polite and courteous to everyone”
We wish David luck on his final term as a freshman at Drexel and hopes he finish the year strong
