Drexel IEEE Graduate Forum conducted Simulink hands-on-workshop on Thursday, 25th July 2019 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Bossone Research Center Room 605. During the workshop, each attendee followed along with the presenter to create various power system devices (e.g., 3-phase rectifier, PWM generator, and 4-leg inverter).
At the end of the workshop, attendees have to produce a solution from the learned materials.
This event was conducted by Khalid Hurayb, PhD Candidate at Drexel University and current President of DIG Forum.
Some of the concepts introduced during the workshop:
Modeling dynamic systems
Logic operations
Model Hierarchy
Visualization of signals and more!
